NPR featured an interview with famed composer John Williams, who was done more memorable movie scores (the music that plays during a movie) than most others combined. You may not know his name, but you know his work the moment you hear a few notes from movie franchises such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, and Jurassic Park, just to name a few. A few iconic notes from Jaws, and you'll think twice about swimming in the ocean!
His latest work on Steven Spielberg's Lincoln can be heard in theaters now, and NPR sat down with him to discuss how he composes the scores, what he thinks about retiring, and more. Click the Read link below to view the article and listen to the interview on NPR's web site.
To sample some of his work, click on the album covers that appear on this page, or you can see a comprehensive listing of his available works on Amazon.com.
