After a very long time of being unavailable, Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas Special Edition is coming back to home video on Tuesday, November 22, 2011.

This straight-to-video special takes place in the story of Beauty and the Beast during the time between Belle agreeing to stay in the beast's castle in her father's place and her leaving to visit him when he falls ill. In an attempt to melt the beast's hardened heart, Belle brings Christmas to the palace with the help of Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, Cogsworth, and others.

I remember trying to purchase this movie on DVD several years ago, and the eBay sellers were getting a pretty penny for it. After three failed purchases, getting what appeared to be poorly-done foreign bootlegs of Video CD's or something, I gave up. I think I'll be picking up a copy on Blu-ray!
