The teaser poster for the next Star Trek movie has been released, but that's about all that Paramount and producer J.J. Abrams is providing in regards to information about the movie. A larger version of the poster can be found on the movie's Photo Galleries page.

The movie's release date is planned for some time in 2008.

The plot is up in the air right now. It was widely thought to cover the early days of the crew from the original series, going back to when James Kirk and Spock met. However, Abrams has thrown some cold water on that rumor and says that the details will be released soon, but they aren't ready to go public with things just yet.
