The World Premiere of the upcoming comedy Funny People, starring Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, and Leslie Mann, will be held on Monday, July 20, 2009 at the ArcLight Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, according to a press release issued by Universal Pictures.

The movie opens on Friday, July 31 and stars Adam Sandler as a famous comedian who has a near-death experience and befriends Seth Rogen, a struggling stand-up comedian.

Attending the premiere will be writer/director/producer Judd Apatow; cast members Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann, Eric Bana, Jonah Hill, Aubrey Plaza, RZA, Aziz Ansari, Iris Apatow and Maude Apatow; producers Clayton Townsend and Barry Mendel; and executive producers Evan Goldberg and Jack Giarraputo.

Celebrity guests will include Elizabeth Banks, Mike Binder, Toni Collette, Courtney Cox Arquette, David Arquette, Andy Dick, John Farley, Kevin Farley, Jeff Garlin, Carol Leifer, Jane Lynch, Norm Macdonald, Romany Malco, Ken Marino, Demetri Martin, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, B.J. Novak, Patton Oswalt, Rosie Perez, John C. Reilly, Chris Rock, Ray Romano, Andy Samberg, Paul Scheer, Adam Scott, Garry Shandling, David Spade, Martin Starr, Henry Winkler and more.

Celebrity arrivals will begin at 6pm and the screening begins at 7pm.
