The 22nd Annual Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards ceremony aired on the cable/satellite channel on Saturday, March 28th at 8pm Eastern Time. The show was hosted by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who has been starring in a fair number of kid-oriented movies in recent years, including Race to Witch Mountain, which is currently in theaters.
The bright orange blimps (who needs a golden statue?) were awarded, actors were slimed, and Will Ferrell even took a 200-foot trip down the "Slip n' Slime." Leonardi DiCaprio was awarded the first-ever Big Green Help Award for his environmental efforts. Musical group The Jonas Brothers not only got slimed, but they also performed two of their hits for the audience.
According to Nickelodeon's press release, over 90 million votes were cast by kids between March 2 - 28 on the nick.com web site and their new mobile web site.

Favorite Animated Movie: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa
Favorite Movie Actress: Vanessa Hudgens
