I have a good number of questions regarding the big push to go digital, which very few avoid addressing, mainly because they don't know of a resolution in the works. My greatest complaint with digital in general is the poor convergence of most machines and the lack of tech persons on site to resolve it... or at least minimize it. Going to 4k may improve it, but even that cannot give the warmth and depth of film. Digital just plain and simply looks "flat" and uninviting on the screen . Additionally, what efforts are being made to resolve the vision problems caused by 3-D? While hearing of more and more problems patrons are having after a few minutes viewing a 3-D feature, I have heard of no resolutions... sounds like a law suit in the making if the eye problems turn out to be permanent. Why are the purveyors of digital so quiet on the negatives of digital projection?
