Earlier today, producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli presented the cast of the next movie in the James Bond franchise, which is titled Skyfall. The 23rd Bond movie will be directed by Academy Award-winner Sam Mendes, who is best known for Jarhead, Road to Perdition, and American Beauty (for which he won for Best Director).

Daniel Craig will be returning for the third time as James Bond and Judi Dench will be reprising her role as M. Javier Bardem has been identified as playing an as-yet-unnamed villain, Naomie Harris will play a field agent, and French actress Bérénice Marlohe has the role of a "glamorous enigmatic" character. Also in the cast are Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, and Ben Whishaw in unnamed roles.

In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her.  As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
