The Wildwood Luxury 10 Cinemas in Beloit, Wisconsin has been closed by the city for code violations, according to an article published in the Beloit Daily News:

The Luxury 10 Cinemas in Beloit is closed until further notice due to several code violations.

A notice was placed on the front of the building by the Beloit Division of Housing Services and Code Enforcement indicating the structure “cannot be used for human habitation, occupancy or use.”

A notice of declaration with Friday's date was sent to Capital Cinemas, the parent company of Luxury 10. The notice outlined six violations.

While the article references "Capital Cinemas," we have the theater listed as being owned by Wildwood Theatres, which also operates the Wildwood - Movies 16 in Janesville and previously operated the Wildwood - Rock Theatre in Janesville (which closed in 2010) and the Capitol Cinemas in Pewaukee (which closed in 2007).

Until the theater reopens, moviegoers in the Beloit area will need to visit the Wildwood - Movies 16 in Janesville or the AMC Showplace Machesney Park 14 in Machesney Park, Illinois.
