Featured Theater Service

Featured Theater Service is the foundation of everything we offer to theaters. Not only do you get increased exposure on The BigScreen Cinema Guide, but you have the ability to update your theater information and view reports from a password-protected web site. We offer so much as part of this service, that you can use this as your theater's web site for as little as $60 per year! (See the example to the right)

Custom Web Site Design

We also offer the ability to integrate much of this information into custom-designed web site if you wish. This way, you can have a fully customized web site, but still take advantage of the automated updates of showtimes, ticket prices, movie information, and announcements.

With this level of integration, the Showtimes page and the Movies page on your web site are updated automatically with information from The BigScreen Cinema Guide. We are able to provide customized elements, such as movie posters showing which movies are playing, information boxes that show brief information about each movie, and more. All this is done automatically from The BigScreen Cinema Guide, so you don't have to manually update your web site each week when new movies come in and older movies leave your theater.

Having your own custom web site allows you to offer more information specific to your theater, such as advertising information and extended theater information. It also allows you to have E-Mail addresses, mailing lists, and other features that are possible with a custom-designed web site. Want to update pages on your own, whenever you want? You'll be able to do that through a password-protected section of your site. If you don't wish to update it yourself, you can have us do it for you instead!

The fee for creating a custom web site for you is variable, based on what you would like to have done. Simple web sites cost less, more complex sites with more features and high-end artwork cost more. That's the beauty of custom design -- what you pay matches what you want from your web site!

After we create a custom web site for you and host it on our servers, the monthly hosting fee would be combined with your Featured Theater Service for an additional fee, based on the needs of your web site. Pricing varies based on your needs, so please contact us for more information.

Integration with your Current Web Site

If you have a web site, we can work with you to integrate some or all of the features we have available into your site. Readers that visit your theater's information on The BigScreen Cinema Guide will get a brief outline of your theater on our site, and then visit your site for even more information.

What is The BigScreen Cinema Guide?

Since January of 1995, The BigScreen Cinema Guide has been providing movie showtimes and information for theaters throughout the United States. In addition to the delivery of showtime information, we provide detailed movie and theater information. From its outset, the publication has been produced by Scott Jentsch of SVJ Designs, LLC. in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

With our long history of publication, current popularity, strategic partnerships, and many features, The BigScreen Cinema Guide can reach more people, provide more information, and represent your theater better than any traditional newspaper ad or phone recording could hope to achieve. With so many people turning to the Internet for timely information, you may find that newspaper ads aren't drawing enough people to make them worth the money you spend!

Unlike many general sites that provide showtimes along with horoscopes, search results, and the local weather, this site has always been only about movies, done by people who love movies, and we work very hard to deliver high quality information and services. We take a very personal interest in making sure that each of our Featured Theaters is well represented. Our primary goal for the site is to work with theaters to deliver information that they want to provide and that our readers are looking for. It is this bi-directional relationship that makes our service unique and much more valuable than other sites that treat showtimes like a commodity.

How Accurate Are Your Showtimes?

Our showtime information is provided by CinemaSource, which is the nation's largest distributor of movie showtimes and related movie information. Since you submit your showtime data directly, the accuracy of the data is the best possible. Showtimes are updated six times each weekday to ensure that your information is updated and accurate.
