I saw this movie from 1996 and to me, it was the best movie of the year. And I don't say that to every movie I've seen. I love the character of Police Chef Marge Gunderson, played brilliantly by Frances McDormand who is preagant. But that doesn't stop her from after a pair of kidnappers. I really like this movie very much. This is the best movie that ever came from Joel and Ethan coan, who made some of ther best movies ever. If it wren't for "Blood Simple," "Fargo" could've been the best movie ever made by the pair. The following spriong when the MTV Movie Awards were announced. "Fargo" was shut out, Frances McDormand was shut out to in favor of Madonna for "Evita." Sure, "Evita" is a good movie, but "Fargo" is better, much better. The MTV Movie Awards has made a big mistake that year. No matter what people say, ":Fargo" is a great movie. See it.
