This will take your breath away. "Top Gun" came out in the summer of 1986 as a high-flying action picture, which made a Meg-star out of Tom Cruise.

Cruise played a hot-shot fighter who was assigned to "Top Gun" an elite group of pilots who are trained for dangerous missions. The film also take Cruise and serveral other recults though basic training, under Kelly McGillis, in which the hot-shot Cruise fell for. Criuise character is no dummy, he knows the basics of jets. He also had the knowledge of upsetting the brass, every time he swoops though the tower.

His partner Anthony Edwards plays Goose, whose is the second banana to Cruise's hijinks. Meg Ryan is Edward's wife. "Top Gun" isn't Ryan only movie. Later in the summer, she appeared in "Armed and Dangerous." From those two film, you get the renge of Meg acting from dramatic in "Gun" to comic in "Armed." The film has a feeling for a video, one scene inwhich the recults, plaing the game of vollyball. The film is fast pace and fun. But I love the song "Take My Breath Away," and later won the Academy Award for best song. "Top Gun" is still a good movie 15 years later, rent it on video and have a good time.
