An incredible movie about the survival at sea between a Man and a tiger in the aftermath of a sinking ship. It's based on the novel by Yann Martel, which is quite compelling when the book is adapted to the big screen. Suraj Sharma holds him own in the movie which pairs him with a tiger. I was hooked into this movie and I find it very intresting in nthe way the Man and tiger had to get along in the middle of nowhere. this is pretty good and pretty intense stuff. The film is available in 3D and I would rather that you see it in 2D. Also forget that comparison to "Avatar" Those two movies are great, but "Life of Pi" can hold its own with any comparison to other movies. If I would like to compare "Life of Pi" to another movie, it would be "the Black Stallion."
Interesting story, lots of beautiful pictures of ocean dwellers. The 3D was very well done.
