Last winter, I saw Zooey Dischanel's performance in "Yes Man." It was the only thing that I like about that movie. Her performance has blown everyone off the screen, including Jim Carey. Now in "500 Days of Summer," she has given a Oscar cablur performance as a girl name Summer who was the odd girlfriend of Tom, played by Joseph Gorden Levitt. I heard that it's not a romantic comedy, but it's a far better movie than "The Proposal" and "the Ugly Truth" put together. The storytelling of the movie is quite different. The days ranged from Day 1 to 500, and it not in the numernal order. A big plus. Another big plus is the performance of Zooey Deschanel who dominated the movie. Her appeal has wom my heart. I love this movie very much and It's one of the best movies of the year.

Innovative story telling with great characters.

If you enjoy seeing a weak-willed, insecure, needing advice from his adolescent sister man get frustrated because the woman he is attracted to gets fed up with his whinning and indecisivenss...go see it. There is a lesson here, one every young man should see and one, not surprisingly, is missed by the main character.
