"Superbad" is supergood.Well, it may be supergood, but it's just plain good. A funny movie about a bunch of teenagers who talked like drunk sailors trying to score both booze and the chicks all in one night. That scene where one of the kids tries to obtain liquror reminds me of Charlie Martion Smith's attempts to get a bottle of Harper in "American Graffiti." I personally laughted at this movie. In the past, I saw the many comedies in dead silence. Not this movie. It may be raunchy, but it's funny as well. I like the cops, they deserved a movie of their own. I love the chicks. I had to say about a performer with the name Aviva. She didn't get enough screen time, but her performance is very sexual. I hope to see her again. the rest of the cast are funny in a movie that will not disapoint. Watching "Superbad" is a joy by itself.
Very funny. I felt like half way through, the plot just wasn't going anywhere...........and it really didn't. While this movie did have its very funny moments, much of it was rehashed from films like american pie and other high school/college films. This film wasn't as good as knocked up and 40 year old virgin, but still a decent high school comedy.
Dumb cops, lame jokes, same old tired gags, a couple of laughs nothing new or great.
About 30 minutes of hilarity, then about 90 minutes of boredom.
