A good movie to see. I wouldn't recommend for younger children due to content.
GO SEE NOW!!!!!!
I was not impressed. I went into the theater expecting a good show due to the star-studded cast, which includes Will Smith, Robert DeNiro, Jack Black, Renee Zellweger, and Angelina Jolie. However, I left the theater disappointed. In my opinion, this movie was trying hard to win the popularity that followed "Finding Nemo," but failed horribly. "Finding Nemo" was brilliantly done, with a good storyline and easy, subtle humor. "Shark Tale" had very few humorous moments...it simply seemed as if the writers were trying to hard to make this movie good. Too bad it didn't work out. But rent it if you want, I'm sure the kids won't mind it.
It isn't a complete waste. It isn't as fun as some of the other animated movies that are out at this time, but pretty decent for the kids.
This movie was also funny!! I loved that it had Will Smith's voice in it!
One of the worst computer animated movies ever. For a PG movie that is aimed at children, the film has theats of violence, gambling and extortion. Do you think that kids will be intrested in that sort of thing? the characters in the movie are one diminisioned, including the hero with the voice of Will Smith. He plays a fish who claims to be the shark slayer. The problem with his character is that he's not a good role model. He dances every twenty minutes and in one scene, he wearing bling. "Shark Tale" comes too soon after "Finding Nimo." Sadly, "Shark Tale" was nominated for a Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, shuting out a far better movie like "The Polar Express."
