"Bad Santa" is a funny movie about a character who hates playing Santa, who would rather rob stores than be in one. Bill Bob Thronton gave a good performance as well as performances from Lauren Graham and John Ritter. The film is a cross between "Miracle on 34th Street," and WC Field's "You Can't Cheat an Honest Man." It's raunchy, mean spirited, but the laughs are there. "Bad Santa" is not for kids. It's for adults who are good.

It would be better named BAD MOVIE. The acting is bad, there are some laughs but how many times can you laugh at a drunk santa. The filming itself was bad, in a lot of scenes you can see the boom mike over their heads. Save your money.

This profanity laced dark comedy made me laugh. Did I mention the extreme number of 4 letter words?

If you liked The Ref and Something about Mary, and always wondered what would happen if they combined the two, well, now you have your answer. Bad Santa. Its a movie that is what it is, and doesn't care if you like it or not. Its not going to tug at your heart strings, its not going to fill you with holiday joy. Its crude, its rude, and it nevers stops. There's no happy ending full of redemption here.

If you have a twisted sense of humor, this is the movie for you. Funny film. You will never look at the department store Santas the same way ever again.
