"The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" is a bad remake of the broadway smash. Bert Reynolds and Dolly Parton has turn this film into a dumb-down version of the musical. One song that Dolly sang, "I will always love you," became Whitney Houston's song in the 1991 film "The Bodyguard." A film that I didn't like either. A better musical that came out around the time of "Whorehouse" is a much better musical. it's "Pink Floyd, the Wall." Parton gave a sexy performance. that's why I gave the movie a "Wait for Rentals."
