An excellent motion picture from 1948,"The Treasure of Serra Madre" is first-class movie enjoyment and with strong direction and screenwriting from John Huston. it well wroth the effort. Humphrey Bogart is in fine form as Fred C. Dobb, a drifer who is hired along with two other men, played by Walter Huston and Tim Holt. the three fought over the gold and one of them pay a heavy price for his greed. I saw this movie a few years ago and I wanted to see it again. This film is a must see and must rent. A joy to behold.
