the message in "the Santa Clause" is that anyone can be santa, but there wasn't mjuch to like in this movie. there is one really bad scene when the film stops cold foir a Denny's commerical. We don't need this distraction. Tim allen try it's best, but he couldn't save the movie. A much better christmas movie came out at the same time that is much better than "the Santa Clause." it the John Hughes remake of "Miracle on 42ed Street," a much better movie than Tim Allen's movie. But the series will redeemed itself with the next two movies. Both better than the first.
