One of the best action movies of all time. Especailly in that one scene when Popeye Doyle, played by Gene Hackman is chasing a suspect on a train though the streets of New York in his car. This is one of the best chase scenes in motion piocture history. Other than that, the rest of the movie is superb. In the opening Hackman, posed as Santa Claus chase down a suspect. Hackman's character comes alive as well as the movie. Doykle is assign to go after drug dealers in New York. I saw this mivie several times and I want to see it again.
