The best comedy of the 1980's is the military comedy "Stripes." a very funny comedy about two losers who enter the army and came up as winners. the two losers are played by Bill Murray and Harold Ramis. Two very young comics at the time, who really stole the movie. they're not the only ones that's worthy of mention. Warren Oates as Sergeat Hulka who is quite funny. John Candy is Ox, a big man with a big heart. I live that scene where he took on a group of girls in mudwrestling. P.J. Soles and Sean Young are the love intrest of Murray and Ramis. I miss Soles, she's a very grogeous woman. I love the music score provided by Elmer Bernstein. I love this movie very much. It brought back memories for me. 1981 was a great year for movies. "Stripes" was the icing on the cake.
