Cate Blanchett, the ex-wife of a Bernie Madoff figure who commits suicide in prison. is left with no money after a life with a whole lot of money. The film deals with how she copes with her life after all the money is gone. It's written and directed by
Woody Allen. Like most of the "Wood Man's" films, there's meat if you want to look for it. In this one, there's plenty.

What brings happiness? Are some trapped forever in poverty? Do we live in class society? Is being better offer mean that you'll be happier?

The film is pretty jumpy, not smooth. The Wood Man has made better films. It takes awhile before I was interested in all in the film. And really, I didn't care what happened to the main character. Not a great film. But I loved the music. I wonder if that was Woody on the clarinet in some of the tunes.

Another brilliant Woody Allen film but film centers on a woman with mental heath issues. She is played by Cate Blanchett and this is her best role ever. She might get an Oscar nominbation and she could win it. This is a character study about a woman and the relationship with those around her. She is the best reason why I love this mov9ie. You won't forget her character after you leave the theatre.
