No IMAX movie can really be appreciated as a rental, so if you're interested in seeing the spectacular sights of the Grand Canyon, you owe it to yourself to see this as it was intended to be seen. Unless you have a television large enough to fill your entire range of vision, don't think that you can wait for rental.
Like so many large-format films, "Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets" takes you on breathtaking journeys that fill your vision and make you feel like you are there. The camera takes you through the canyon by air and down the river by raft, with a plot backdrop of historical occupation and exploration by natives and explorers alike.
Movies like this are eye-candy, and "Grand Canyon" doesn't disappoint.
