This film see the coming of the hurricane as seen though the eyes of a six year-old girl played by newcomer Quvenzhane Wallis. She lead his father to dry land though the flooded backdrop of the south. I also like the large buffalo that roam the land. She's the real star of this movie. Many critics had strong praise for this movie. It won the Grand Jury prize at the Sundance film festival. I think it's a good movie with good performances all around.
