I expected more suspense or action. It really dragged in some parts. I hesitate to say boring, but I was, a little bit, at times.

A very good movie, not about the crash of a jet airplance. But of the aftermath where Denzel Washington who plays an airline pilot, who is hailed as a hero, but later we learned that he may have been drunk when he landed the plane. One of the best scenes of the movie is when he flew the plane backwards before he crash land the plane. And John Goodman who in an off the wall performance as Washington drug dealer. This is a first-class top-rate drama about the case study of a pilot who may have gone over the edge. This is Director Robert Zemeckis' best film in a long time. Washington's performance along with a strong class. "Flight" has taken us to new heights.

Denzel Washington dominates this movie, so it's a good thing that he's up to the task. While he's a hero for landing a plane that should have crashed, he's not hero material. To call him flawed would be drastically understating the case!

As with many of his movies, Wahington creates a character that is completely believable. As in "Training Day" you may not like his character, but you enjoy watching him play it.
