Long at times but still good
"Savages" is a very violent and tough movie. Not as good as "Natural Born Killers," but Director Oliver Stone has created a violent world of drug dealers. One lesson that I learn is there is no honor along drug dealers. The film centers on two drug dealers who share a girlfriend. The girlfriend was played by Blake Lively and in the four years since "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" she has matured as an actress. I love Salma Hayek's performance as the kingpin of the Mexican cartel. "Savages" could've been release in the fall, but to release it in the summer, adults will have something toi see instead of all the fuff that is on the big screen right now.
