A terrible thriller inwhich the name of Edger Allen Poe is dragged though a silly murder plot involving a serial killer. John Crusack is fine as the disterb writer, but could'nt do much with his role. People who study the life of Poe may be advised to avoid the movie. The title "The Raven" is based upon one of this his writing, but it has very little to do with the movie. All I got out of this movie is lots of yelling and lots of blood. In one scene after a girl name Emily was kidnapped, the people who are looking for her are screaming Emily and that has gotton on my nerves. I didn't like the mnovie and it was just plain terrible. A contest promotion on the radio has radio listerners guessing what was in their Crusack. The winner will get tickets to "The Raven." I don't know what is wrose, being on the radio guessing or sitting though a bad movie. I say both.
