"Moonrise Kingdon" is a wild, weird and very funny comedy about star crossed lovers and a group of boy scouts with weapon. The movie is directed by Wes Anderson who past movie are both smart and diffewrent, but this movie takes thge cake. It's full of weirdness involviong anb island that is overerun by boy souts trying to find two kids who ran away together. This is a wonderful comedy full of top-notch cast which includes Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bruce willis (His best role in years), Frances McDormand, Tila Swinton and a large numbers of boy scouts. Comedies like "Moonrise Kingdom" don't come too often. Many comedies don't have much to laugh at and have very weak cast. This movie is pure heaven. "Moonrise Kingdom" stands out a a comic classic.

This was absolutely the strangest movie we have ever seen. It felt like we were watching something some middle school kids wrote and did for a school project. Also, some awkward sexual encounters by 11 year olds. Uncomfortable with that.

My wife and I just kept looking at each other in disbelief over the sheer strangeness of the movie. If you like off the wall independent films, maybe you would like this. I don't know.
