Filmgoers are going to be taken for a ride in "Drive," but in a good way. This film should have been retitied "Drive, He Said," but hey i like the title, I like this movie. Ryan Gosling plays a Hollywood Stunt Drive who moonlights as a getaway driver. He ran into two mobsters played by Ron Pearlman and Albeert Brooks (in a rare dramatic performance), Gosling falls for Carey Mulligan as a single mother. I like this movie because that movie reminds me of the 1967 classic "Bulliett" starroing Steve McQueen. Driving down highways are a joy to watch. The photoshots of Los Angeles are incredible.

Ryan Gosling didn't have to do much for this part. Lame acting, lame story plot; lame action. Mostly blood and quiet Gosling, brooding all the time. This is not a movie worth paying money for.

People complain that this movie isn't like Fast and the Furious. This is the movie Fast and the Furious wishes it could be. Superbly acted, written and directed. Subdued and thoughtful, easily one of the best of the year.
