A beautifully made black and white movie based on the 1984 short is about a boy who brought back a dog from the dead. I love the decision to make it a black and whilte movie. This is the second time this year that I sat though a black and white movie after "The Artist." it was also made in stop motion animation which is rare in a time where computer amination was the norm. He could have made it in computer amination, but he didn't. He stuck to stop motion amination and that is why I love the movie. This movie is also in 3D. I'd rather see it in 2D. I'd rather pick a black and white movie over 3D anyday.
