Saw Skyfall on the IMAX on 11/14/2012.

The advertised showtime was 6:25, the ads and trailers delayed the movie until 6:42.

Picture quality was good, no major issues noticed. I did notice quite a bit of jumpiness in the end credits, which is odd, since digital cinema is usually rock solid. Perhaps the dual projectors caused this? It wasn't noticeable during the movie, however.

The trailers were quite loud, which concerned me about the volume of the movie, but thankfully the volume during the movie was suitably loud without the pain of the trailer volume. The explosion at MI6 made me jump, so there was enough bass to elicit a reaction as if the explosion was being experienced first-hand.

I decided to try out the chicken tenders from the concession stand. They were reasonably priced ($4.75 I think) and took about 3 minutes to go from the freezer, through the fryer, and into the cardboard serving tray. I chose a $4.25 20oz bottle of Dasani water, which was cheaper than the smallest soda, which was $4.75 and at least 20 ounces. I wish AMC offered smaller drinks for a lower price.

The theater was clean and in good condition. Wednesday nights aren't real busy times, but the lobby was clean, as was the auditorium and the bathroom.

One final note has to do with the admission price. $14.50 for an evening show is too much money. There were probably 10 people in the theater for our show; imagine how many more they might have gotten if the price were more reasonable?

Great theater during the day, won't go there at night. Last movie I saw at night was Alice in Wonderland, kids didn't stop talking mom didn't know to tell them to hush.

My friend and I went to see paranormal activity tonight @ the 8 oclock show.

The movie was so great!! super scary. unfortunatly the movie was ruined by excessive commentary, talking, cell phone answering and even a baby crying. A baby, someone brought their baby!

i am unsure as to why there were not ushers keeping control and maintaining quiteness in the theater.

After the movie i proceeded to call and get connected with the AMC MAYFAIR managment and they were very polite and helpful while i expressed my terrible experience. They were very accomodating!!!

i will return because i have had great experiences at AMC MAYFAIR in the past. id avoid going to an opeing night of any movie unless you want to deal with the typical hood rat mayfair crowd.

One more thing...
I saw the Guardians of Ga'Hoole with my best friend quite a while ago in IMAX 3D here, and the picture/sound quality was so good that when a bat flew across the screen I screamed because I thought it was real.

Of course, that's in IMAX 3D but still, GREAT picture and sound.

Me and my best friend go here all the time, and our favorite thing about it is that they let you butter and salt your own popcorn! That way, the staff can't put too much on, and can't put too little on and it's just the way you like it.

The picture/sound quality is great, the staff is nice, and it's nice and simple to find your theater, bathrooms, concessions, etc.

Another really nice thing is that it's at the mall, so you can look/shop around while you wait for your movie to start if you get there early.

It's very clean, and you will often see staff members cleaning up around the place, whether in the lobby when you get there or waiting to clean after your movie. The bathrooms are quite clean and the theaters are kept in perfect shape.

I am very sorry to hear that AMC has discontinued the summer movie series for children. Marcus theaters in Racine and Oak Creek and Cinemark in Kenosha are still offering series for those of you with families and child care centers etc. that are looking for an inexpensive movie outing for children.

I hope that AMC finds another way to contribute to charity and the community. It seems the prices keep going up and the services are going DOWN.

Why do I have to go to another theater to watch Atlas Shrugged?

Absolutely the BEST theatre in the greater Milwaukee area. They play all of the BIG pictures and have an amazing IMAX screen with impeccable sound. The theatre is immaculate...it looks like it just opened. Cleanest restrooms anywhere in the USA!! Big screens with properly masked pictures...unlike any Marcus theatre that has yet to figure out why there is black masking at all!! I do avoid Marcuis Theatres at all costs because of the very poor projection at ALL of their theatres.

I was surpirsed at the admission price at your theatre. My friend and I meet once a month on a Thursday to see a movie around 4pm, then go to dinner. We went to Mayfair for the first time and were charged $9.50 to see a movie that started at 4:05pm. We were informed that the bargain prices are only for movies before 4pm. Come on!! $9.50 for an early show on a weekday.

We will not be returning unless you lower your prices. I was just at the Ridge on Sat for at 2:30pm show and paid $7.50, on a weekend. I think you are out of line with your prices and also scheduling your movies to start just after 4pm is just not good customer service.

I have been spreading the work about your price scam. I would consider coming back to your theatre if you make the prices more reasonable.

I only go to this theatre for the convenience. I live 5 minutes from the mall. That being said, I try to go to other theatres, namely Majestic theatres whenever possible. I am 22-years-old, so I'm not an older adult complaining about these young whippersnappers, but the theatre staff seriously needs to crack down on the audiences. My best advice, never, ever, see a scary movie in this theatre unless you want the entire experience to be ruined by people talking throughout the entire movie, both to each other and on cell phones. Also avoid movies targeted at primary black audiences as you run the risk of finding yourself in a riot, namely the 'Barbershop' incident that required the complete shut down of the theatre in 2007. Actually, I'd be hard-pressed to go to Mayfair Mall at all anymore after the most recent riot. Save yourself the possibility of being crushed, beat-up, or shot and go to Brookfield Square for your shopping and the Marcus Majestic for your movies.

I have no problem with this theater. My husband and I go to the early showing which is great because the other theaters do not offer early movies at a discount price anymore. It is not packed with young adults using their cell phones and interrupting others. I would recommend to everyone this theater as long as one goes before 12:00

We will never go back to this theater again. People talked, screamed, yelled, talked on their phone and told jokes (no I'm not kidding) during the ENTIRE movie. I complained to management and they did nothing...so I asked all people around me that were talking etc to please be quiet and I was threatend by them.

We will NEVER go here again and I advise that you do the same if you want an enjoyable experience.

On opening night, 7 p.m. showing of A Nightmare on Elm St was constantly interrupted by people not only talking to each other but on their cell phones. We complained to management about situation and was told security was in there. Security was there but for the most part was a joke. After 3rd time the woman next to us answered her cell, we left demanding a refund.

Marcus theaters have a zero tolerance policy on this. They post warning signs and eject people. For this reason, we will now only go to those theaters. People have a right to watch a film without these interruptions and the theaters have a responsibility to make sure they dont occur.

In regards to BigScreen Reader, AMC has no control over the parental guidance, that is purely mayfair mall, and it has been that way for almost three years now. A lot of malls are putting it into place, I would have looked into it if i were you.

I am extremely disappointed that nowhere on your web site does it state that a 17 year old cannot got to an evening movie without an adult present. We live 1 hour away from your theater and purchased 2 tickets today for $30 for Avatar. My daughter, a 17 year old honor student drove to Milwaukee along with her 17 year old boyfriend. This was a gift for her boyfriend! They were told that they could not enter the theater as they are not 18!!! They weren't even allowed to enter the theater to get a refund. This sort of "rule" should be very clearly stated on your web site.

Hello to Management,

Very sad to see the website has been changed. We used to find the CC closed caption ICON listed on this website. I know that Mayfair's Theater number 10 is always captioned. Why has that information been eliminated from this website.

I also noticed it is not on AMC's website either, so maybe they deleted it and have not passed on the info to you.

If you could check into this, this would be greatly appreciated.
