Theater opened in 1911 as The New Oxford Theater, and then was renamed to Talawanda Theater in the 1950's.

It was renamed to the Princess in 1982, and later Great Escape Princess 4. It closed November 25, 2012 as the Princess Theater under the ownership of Regal Cinemas, which purchased the theater from Aliance Entertainment.

The theater came under new ownership and they reopened it in 2014. It was heavily damaged by fire in March 2014 and closed.
