Originally opened as the single-screen Niantic Theatre Mar 9, 1950. Owned by the Mitchell Family Trust from 1977 until it closed in 2022. Converted to three screens in early 1980(?) by splitting the single screen in half on the first floor and walling off the balcony. Later expanded to five screens.
