Ratings
My husband and I are avid movie watchers and would go out to the movies once a week if there were movies to see. We're not limited to subject matter, actors, or genre, only that they are interesting and creative.
Our theaters get the 'released everywhere' movies which nearly always disappoint or insult.
Foreign films, independent films, and smart films rarely come to our theaters.
We recently did hear of a few independent movies that played here. We missed them since we don't even check listings anymore. Perhaps our city has gained enough population to access better films.
We used to drive to New Orleans and Baton Rouge for good movies, but they don't offer them anymore either.
