I saw "Young Adult" at the 2:30 matinee, Saturday, Dec. 31.
Nice theater; roomy seats. $2 for -- I think -- 3 hours or so validated parking (or 2 hours maximum, metered, on the street if you can find any), with general ticket prices that are more "Valley Village" than "North Hollywood." They seem in line with Laemmle prices throughout the chain.
Three restaurants a block up the street: Panda Express; Big Wang's; and Daphne, which is Greek. Across the street are Vicious Dogs (upscale hot dogs; not unlike Slaw Dogs, if that helps) and a sushi restaurant that may or may not be open for business -- hard to tell from walking by.
I'd go again, but if the same picture were playing at the somewhat rundown Century (lower price; free parking) at Coldwater and Victory, I'd go there.
Would you recommend this theater to others? Yes!
