Renamed to the Fox Theater in Nov 1917, and then later the Rex. The Rex became the Egyptian Ballroom dance hall between 1927-1929. It was then used as a warehouse. The Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum took over in 2004 and started showing movies in 2005.
